Some students pick a sentence or two, and some choose a longer excerpt it’s up to them. They transcribe their chosen excerpt at the top of the page, and then they get into their reaction. “This assignment is what I call a ‘passage selection.’ Students pick any length excerpt from the assigned reading and react in a page or two. ![]()
